Warranty and Terms of Service
Limited Warranty
- New Parts Warranty: All new parts sold by Pure Performance come with a 1-year/12,000-mile warranty, unless otherwise disclosed. No warranty is provided for used parts or customer-provided parts.
- Documentation: The customer must retain a copy of the original invoice to avail warranty services.
- Transportation: The customer is responsible for transporting the vehicle to Pure Performance's facility in the event of a potential warranty claim.
Terms and Conditions
By signing or paying the balance and doing business with Pure Performance, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Payment Obligation: You agree to pay all outstanding balances in full and confirm satisfaction with all work provided by Pure Performance. By doing so, you release Pure Performance from any liability concerning your vehicle.
- Void of Warranty: Any modifications to vehicle performance or software/hardware will void the warranty. Pure Performance does not provide warranty for modified cars, and any warranty work performed is at the discretion of Pure Performance and not an obligation.
- Liability: Pure Performance is not liable for theft, fire, damage, flood, or any natural disasters occurring while the vehicle is under repair.
- Limited Warranty Transfer: The Pure Performance Limited Warranty applies solely to the original purchaser of Pure Performance products and is non-transferable.
- Exclusions: The Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by failure of Pure Performance or non-Pure Performance products.
- Improper or poor installation.
- Misuse, abuse, Acts of God, track usage, or failure to provide adequate maintenance.
- Consequential, incidental, or special damages.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Illegal racing on street or track.
- Specific Product Warranties: Stock rebuild long blocks carry a 1-year/12,000-mile Limited Warranty on internal parts. Warranty is void if the car has a tune other than the stock BMW tune before or after long block installation. Prior to any repair work, comprehensive diagnostic data must be provided.
- No Third-Party Warranty Repairs: Pure Performance does not cover warranty repairs conducted at other facilities; all warranty work must be performed at Pure Performance's facility.
- Warranty Scope: The warranty covers parts only; labor is not included unless specified.
- High-Performance Products: High-performance forged long blocks do not include any warranty. Claims or assistance by Pure Performance are provided at their discretion and are not obligatory.
- Installation Costs: The Limited Warranty does not cover installation expenses, vehicle rental expenses, loss of income, or emotional damages.
- Shipping Policy: Pure Performance is not liable for shipping delays, fees, customs charges, or damages occurring during transportation to or from the customer's location.
- Dispute Resolution: You agree never to initiate legal proceedings against Pure Performance and commit to resolving any issues or disputes through mutual communication and negotiation.
- Reputation Protection: You agree not to discuss any issues with Pure Performance, whether in person or online, that could harm Pure Performance's reputation. Any violation of this clause may result in legal action against you.
- Vehicle Condition and Damage: It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect and photograph the vehicle upon departure and arrival. Any damages during transportation must be addressed with the shipping provider.
- Road Testing Authorization: By authorizing vehicle repairs, the customer permits road testing and driving to replicate and resolve issues. This may involve driving the vehicle for extended periods to ensure issue resolution.
- Low vehicle warning : If your vehicle is lowered, Pure Performance can not be held responsible for any body damage from bumps, dips, etc while putting miles on for testing.
- Pick up time frame: Once you are notified that your vehicle is ready for pickup, you have 10 working days to arrange for pickup. After the 10 day period, you will be charged a storage fee of $50/day unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Before you send you vehicle: Please remove all valuables and items from your vehicle. While we do our best to return everything as is, we are not responsible for lost items while your vehicle is in our possession. We need quick access to the trunk to disconnect the battery. If there are items left in the trunk please remove before sending
Disclaimer and legal
- Payment Requirement: Payment must be made and cleared before the vehicle is released. Accepted forms of payment include wire transfer, cash, or cashier's check.
- Quote Validity: All quotes are valid for 7 days and subject to change after a proper inspection.
- Vehicle Abandonment: Vehicles left for more than 30 days after completion will be considered abandoned.
- Storage Fees: Vehicles not picked up within 7 days after completion or 7 days after receiving a quote will incur a daily preservation fee of $35.
- Estimates: All quotes provided are estimates; final pricing may vary after a thorough inspection.
- Disaster Disclaimer: Pure Performance is not responsible for flood, fire, theft, earthquake, or any natural or unnatural disasters. Pure Performance also disclaims liability for the loss of parts or items left in vehicles on its premises.
